I'd call myself your new guilty pleasure, but I don't believe in assigning guilt to pleasure. You're peering through the haze of day to day responsibilities and daily routine, finding yourself wanting a little bit more from life. You ask yourself, "Is this all there is?" and then I step through the door. Heartfelt, candid, mischievous. Wresting you from the peril of the mundane.
If you're anything like me, pleasure and productivity are concepts which have run contrary to each other. I've long been subscribed to the idea that life is made whole by achievement, in a wholly traditional sense. More money, more accolades. Constantly moving goalposts. But lately, I've been learning that true fulfillment is found in the intangible: a touch of softness; a spark of connection. Being Yukino is my rebellion against the idea that our most valuable outputs are measurable - my declaration, steeped in unconventionality, that joy is a worthwhile pursuit.
My escapades have afforded me flexibility, and I take full advantage by traveling extensively. I'm especially fond of trips rich in natural beauty and cultural history; I'm meant more for ancient monuments or mushroom foraging in a forest than for big cities or lounging at a beach resort. When not traversing the landscapes of the world, I choose to spend most of my time making art. I am ever in search of moments of beauty to share with the right company. Sometimes they are found in the most ordinary of places. One of my favorites? Side by side at a corner table, in captivating conversation over a delicious meal.
There's no greater meaning in life than to create, and there's nothing more important to create than connection. So tell me your greatest ambitions and your wildest dreams. Let's share a brief reprieve - or perhaps our next adventure. I want to bring to your life what it's been missing... whether that be a treasured friend, a secret lover, or anything in between.
